I took this about 20 years ago with a [i]Pentax K1000 35mm[/i] camera and [i]Kodak 100 speed B/W[/i] film.
I was standing at the top of a hill, looking down the road. My mailbox can be seen on the left. I love the gradient hues that change as the distance increases.

If you are from the [i]South[/i], you know what Kudzu is. It grows a yard a day and grows on everything. It will take over.

I took this picture through an office window at work. I used the 10x zoom to the fullest extent. The photo looked grainy and hazy due to some actual haze and because of some reflection. I [i]solarized[/i] the image with [i]Photo Impressions [/i]software. It now has some more clarity and a eerie sort of effect to it.

This is the same church that you see in the [i]blog heading[/i]. I did [i]not [/i]photoshop this picture as I did in the heading. The lighting is [i]great [/i]here, and I [i]cannot [/i]take credit. The contrasts are much more vidid than what my eye originally saw.

I used the [i]sepia [/i]setting when taking this picture. I like the way the light plays on the cards and on the cloth. I also like the fact that nothing was arranged for the picture. I was playing solitaire and just thought, [i]"this would be a nice picture". [/i]I think I was right.

| Spinning Daffodil |

I took this picture with my Mavica. I then used the [i]spin [/i]feature in the [i]Photo Impressions[/i] program to rotate the bloom.
I tried this with several flowers. The Daffodil seemed to work the best as far as having a real nice effect with the motion.

| Night time toad |

I saw this toad, last night, hopping around my pond. Like a true photographer, I gave it $20.00 and told it to sit still.
I used the 10x zoom to the fullest extent as well as a medium flash setting.
After I took it's photo, I [i]kissed [/i]it. It turned from a frog into [b]Martha Stewart [/b]and offered me some [i]chintz[/i], so I threw her back into the water.

| The Mirror Project |

There is a site called the [url=http://www.mirrorproject.com]Mirror Project[/url]. On this site, you can submit a photograph of yourself in a reflective object, where you are the photographer. No photos are rejected. It is really cool to participate and to view the photos. Here is my entry:
